MANUALLY INSTALLING CAR OPTIONS
 
When the 65 carset is downloaded with the main GEM/iGOR package, any options
for the cars will have to be installed manually.  Please follow these instructions.
 
STEP 1 In Explorer, go to your GPL installation and find the 65 car folders.

In each car folder (brabham, brm, coventry etc.) you will find a dat file for the car - in the example below brabham.dat.

You will also see sub-folders for each option available for that car.  The folder name describes the option.
 
STEP 2 Select the subfolder of the option you want - in the example below 2D helmets.

Copy all the files in that folder - in the example below brabham.3do
 
STEP 3 Go back to the main folder for that particular car - in the example below brabham - i.e. the folder containing the dat file.

Paste the copied file(s) into that folder  - in the example below brabham.3do

 
 
   

REMOVING AN OPTION
  Before removing an option - remember - DO NOT DELETE THE DAT FILE

To remove an option, delete the file(s) you have added to the folder containing the dat file  - in this example brabham.3do.  DO NOT DELETE THE DAT FILE
